Evaluations. A chance to learn, share, shine!

Getting advice from evaluator
Watching kids train
During the quarterly evaluation, the Puppy Evaluator (PE) will assess the pup's progress and provide suggestions on what to work on.  Each dog is different and progresses at their own pace.
The dog's reaction to unusual sounds, objects, people, and traffic is noted.  The PE will suggest the type of exposures the pup is ready for.

Obedience in front of mirror
Walking down stairs
As with any outing, obedience work is done throughout the evaluation session. Obedience in various locations and settings will help build a dog's confidence.
Controlled work on stairs is a must for a guide dog.  Here, Austin shows a perfect example of just what to do.
